FenceDraft Pro

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 September 2026

FenceDraft Pro (“FenceDraft”, “we”) is estimating and job-management software for fence contractors, operated by FenceDraft Pro LLC. This page describes, plainly and accurately, what data the software holds and how it is handled. Questions: mike@fencedraftpro.com.

Who this is for

FenceDraft is a tool a fence contractor uses to run their own business — building estimates, managing jobs, scheduling crews, and (optionally) syncing to QuickBooks. Most information in FenceDraft is entered by the contractor about their own business and their own customers.

What data FenceDraft holds

Where it’s hosted

FenceDraft runs on Render (cloud hosting, United States). Off-site backups are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and stored on Cloudflare R2, with the encryption key kept separately.

QuickBooks

If you connect QuickBooks, you authorize FenceDraft — through Intuit’s own secure sign-in — to access your QuickBooks company. That access is used only to create customers and invoices from your FenceDraft jobs. It is not used for any other purpose, and your QuickBooks data is not sold or shared. The connection is stored so it can be kept active, and you can disconnect at any time — from within FenceDraft, or from the connected-apps page of your Intuit account — which removes FenceDraft’s stored connection. FenceDraft is not affiliated with or endorsed by Intuit.

Who we share data with

FenceDraft does not sell your data. It shares data only with the services needed to operate: Render (hosting), Cloudflare R2 (encrypted backups), Stripe (deposit card processing), an email provider (sending proposals and notifications), and QuickBooks (only when you connect it, and only as described above).

How it’s protected

Access to FenceDraft requires a login. Off-site backups are encrypted. Connections to QuickBooks and Stripe use their own secure (HTTPS) sign-in and APIs. No software is perfectly secure; FenceDraft is provided without a warranty of security (see the Terms).

Keeping and deleting data

Your data is kept for as long as you use FenceDraft. Signed proposals and paid-deposit records are kept as business records. You can request deletion of your data by emailing mike@fencedraftpro.com (records we are required to keep may be retained).

If you’re a customer of a contractor who uses FenceDraft

Your information — contact details, a signature, a deposit record — is held on behalf of the contractor you’re working with, who is responsible for it. Contact them, or reach us at mike@fencedraftpro.com.
