Steel rail fence estimating, from the stick up

Square-tube fence is one tube doing two jobs: the same stick becomes a post or a rail. FenceDraft prices it the way you buy it, by the stick, and tells the yard how much to pull.

Counted the way it's cut

One tube, one price.Posts and top rail of the same tube pull as one line, so the price stays in one place.
Posts by the stick, cut to height plus embedment, with the drop accounted for.
Rails counted separately from post offcuts, so you're never short on rail.
Wire under the rails, sized to fit under the rail it hangs from.
Caps and touch-up paint counted across the whole job.

Gates

Gates are welded diamond-braced steel frames covered with cattle panel. The pull sheet lists the tubing, hinges, latch and drop rod.

From the estimate to the truck

One estimate produces everything the job needs:

Draw the fence over satellite imagery with property lines shown, or enter the footage by hand. Either way, the material count is the same.

Built by a fence contractor, for fence contractors

FenceDraft runs every estimate at Kustom Fence in New Braunfels, Texas, a 14-crew company that builds ranch, farm, King Ranch, cedar post, ornamental, chain link and wood fence across the Hill Country. Every formula was checked against real material loads on real jobs before it went into the product.
